Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Manchester is seeking experienced bench hand joiners/cabinet makers for a permanent, full-time role in a busy workshop. You will fabricate bespoke reception counters, bars and office furniture using hardwoods, veneers, laminates and solid surface finishes, reading CAD drawings to set out components.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years’ joinery or shopfitting experience, City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2, and the ability to install joinery on site or in local projects.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in joinery/shopfitting.
• 5–7 years' experience in bench hand joinery or cabinet making.
• Ability to read CAD setting out drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read CAD drawings and set out components for fabrication.
• Fabricate bespoke joinery for reception counters, bars and office furniture.
• Install joinery on-site or at local projects as required.
• Deliver high-quality finishes with reliability and teamwork.
