Job summary

GTC Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Benefits Lead to support a major public sector transformation programme in the UK. You will own the benefits management approach, from baselining to tracking and embedding into business-as-usual, with a hybrid pattern of on-site presence in Bristol or London.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure benefits are clearly defined, measurable and actively managed throughout the transformation lifecycle, in a role requiring active SC clearance

Qualifications

• Proven track record in benefits management and benefits realisation within major transformation programmes.
• Experience in public sector, Defence or large-scale corporate services environments.
• Strong knowledge of recognised benefits management frameworks (e.g., HM Treasury Green Book, MSP).
• Experience with ERP or HCM transformation and related business change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the programme's benefits management strategy, framework and plans.
• Identify, define and baseline benefits with clear measures, targets and ownership.
• Drive benefits realisation from delivery into business-as-usual.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enable organisational change for benefits.
• Establish benefits tracking, measurement and reporting.
• Monitor benefits performance and report to leadership and governance forums.
• Identify, manage risks, dependencies and issues affecting benefits.
• Maintain benefits registers, roadmaps and supporting analysis.
• Challenge proposals to ensure benefits are realistic and evidence-based.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and Commercial.
