Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established furniture and bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Stoney Stanton. The role covers final assembly, fitting and finishing of bespoke furniture prior to delivery and installation.

You will assemble furniture, cabinets and display units, fit hardware, carry out finishing, check against drawings, and work with joiners and machinists to maintain high quality and safety standards in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in furniture assembly, furniture manufacturing, bench joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting, or similar hands-on environments.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture, cabinets, display units and bespoke joinery products.
• Fit hinges, handles, drawer runners, fixings and other hardware.
• Carry out final finishing and preparation work.
• Check completed items against drawings and specifications.
• Identify and rectify minor defects before products leave the factory.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Prepare finished furniture for packing and dispatch.
• Work alongside joiners, machinists and other members of the production team.
• Ensure finished products meet the required quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing furniture and bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Stoney Stanton.

The Role

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be involved in the final assembly, fitting and finishing of bespoke furniture before it is prepared for delivery and installation.

• Assembling furniture, cabinets, display units and bespoke joinery products
• Fitting hinges, handles, drawer runners, fixings and other hardware
• Carrying out final finishing and preparation work
• Checking completed items against drawings and specifications

The Person

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in furniture assembly, furniture manufacturing, bench joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting or a similar hands-on manufacturing environment.
