About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Time Transport Supervisor to join our team.

You will be responsible for the efficient operation of a busy delivery department. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to meet daily targets. Excellent telephone and customer service skills are essential, as we are passionate about customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying a consistent approach with all team members.
• Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting any health & safety concerns to the store management.
• Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge, excellent customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Support the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Supervise, plan, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in warehouse or transport environments.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC qualification would be advantageous.
