Job summary

9fin is seeking a senior People Operations Lead to set the standard for how People Ops runs in Belfast and own the Belfast workplace experience. You will ensure compliance, policy design, process improvements, and strategic projects are delivered with excellence.

This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the People Operations Manager, collaborating with London teams. You will own the Belfast policies, liaise on local variations, and drive end-to-end projects, including workplace

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations / HR Operations with ownership of process design and delivery.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment law and compliance.
• Experience writing and rolling out policies that hold up in practice.
• Experience leading People Ops projects end-to-end.
• Ability to design workflows and automations reducing manual work.
• Experience owning workplace, office or facilities operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to be the "go-to" person for cross-functional forums.
• Bias to build processes rather than inherit ones.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day running of People Operations for the Belfast population, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and strong employee experience across lifecycle.
• Maintain UK employment law compliance and audit-readiness with internal stakeholders.
• Own Northern Ireland policy set, handbook annexes and local variations reflecting law and practice.
• Lead one or two major People Ops projects end-to-end each cycle, from scoping to measurement.
• Design and build workflows and automations to reduce manual work across the lifecycle.
