Job summary

GUARDIAN SELECTION LIMITED is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in Plymouth. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, ASAP start, with a UK driving license and access to a vehicle considered essential.

Ideal candidates will have experience in UK SEN environments or transferable skills for supporting students with behavioural needs, along with strong safeguarding knowledge and flexible, patient approach to support plans and daily classroom activities.

We are in urgent need of a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS to join a SEN school in PLYMOUTH.

Driving requirements

This role is full time and it is ESSENTIAL to have a UK driving license and own car. WE DO HAVE OTHER ROLES WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE A DRIVING LICENSE

Due to the nature of these children at the school it is ideal for applicants to have previous experience in UK SEN schools/ alternative provisions/ transferable skills working with behavioural needs.

• Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
