GSL Education in Plymouth is urgently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in KS2-4. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, with an ASAP start, supporting students with behavioural needs and developing personalised support plans.

Applicants with previous UK SEN school experience or transferable skills are encouraged to apply, with a drive and reliability valued to help foster communication and social skills in a nurturing classroom setting.

We are in urgent need of a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS to join a SEN school in PLYMOUTH.

Due to the nature of these children at the school it is ideal for applicants to have previous experience in UK SEN schools/ alternative provisions/ transferable skills working with behavioural needs.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
• Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

• Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions
• Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.
