Job summary

Charnwood College is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our secondary school and help students overcome barriers to learning, building resilience and reaching their potential.

You will work with students, teachers and pastoral staff to support behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement, including one-to-one or small-group support during lessons and unstructured times. This role contributes to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to students who may experience challenges with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement or social interaction.
• Support one-to-one or small-group sessions during lessons and unstructured times.
• Help students regulate and re-engage with learning and monitor progress with colleagues to identify interventions.
