Job summary

ABL Health is seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join the Intensive Personalised Support (IPS) team. You will deliver one-to-one support for children and young people across home, school, and community settings, under clinical guidance.

You will work with families, promote positive behaviour and resilience, and maintain accurate records using digital systems. The role requires independent work and strong teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work or family support.
• Experience in education or alternative provision.
• Experience in residential care or supported living.
• Experience in mental health or wellbeing services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised support based on a CYP (Child or Young Person) plan.
• Promote independence based on need and support individuals in accessing the community.
• Update support plans and risk assessments with new observations.
• Keep accurate medical and welfare notes and records.
• Safeguard and report concerns to senior team members or management.
