Job summary

Hasmonean Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Behaviour Support Officer at Hasmonean High School for Boys. You will support the school's Behaviour Policy, ensuring students understand expectations, boundaries and consequences.

Key duties include managing the Reflection Room, supporting students whose behaviour affects learning, delivering targeted interventions, monitoring trends and coordinating detentions. You will work closely with pastoral leaders, staff and parents to raise student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in safeguarding and student welfare is desirable.
• Able to maintain high expectations and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily running of the Reflection Room.
• Support students whose behaviour affects learning or others' learning.
• Deliver targeted behaviour interventions and restorative conversations.
• Monitor behaviour trends and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate detentions and behaviour-related sanctions.
• Work with pastoral leaders, teaching staff and parents to improve outcomes.
• Maintain a visible presence around the school and reinforce high standards.
