Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking a confident Behaviour Support Mentor for a secondary school in EN3, Enfield, starting September 2026. You will assist teachers by supporting pupils with behaviour, helping maintain a calm, structured learning environment and contributing to de-escalation efforts.

Applicants should have experience in behaviour support or SEN settings; Team Teach training is desirable and an Enhanced DBS on update service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in behaviour support, LSA/TA, SEN or mainstream secondary settings.
• Team Teach training is desirable, full training can be provided.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to apply).
• Strong safeguarding and behaviour management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils who need help managing behaviour and staying engaged in learning.
• Help de-escalate situations and support positive behaviour management.
• Work with teaching staff to maintain a calm, structured classroom environment.
