Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor in Birmingham to support pupils with SEMH and SEND. The role focuses on behaviour management, wellbeing, and helping learners engage with their learning in a supportive team. ASP/ ASAP start with competitive daily rates.

This specialist multi-academy trust supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, alongside a range of additional learning needs. With a strong emphasis on therapeutic practice, behaviour support, and personalised learning, the Trust provides a structured and nurturing environment. The role involves working closely with pupils to manage behaviour, develop coping strategies, and support engagement in learning as part of a dedicated and collaborative staff team.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Mentor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or SEND


• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills


• A calm, resilient and empathetic approach


• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff


• A commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and progress
