Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant & After School Club Assistant

Location: Mainstream Primary School – Hackney, London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role:

This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and rewarding environment. You will:

• Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs during the school day, working closely with teachers and the SENCO.
• Implement tailored support strategies to foster a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Assist individuals or small groups in accessing learning and developing social skills.
• Lead engaging activities as part of our After School Club.
• Support children in a school or childcare setting, with experience in behaviour support being highly desirable.
• Build positive relationships with pupils through a calm, empathetic, and patient approach.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate proactively.
• Be reliable and flexible, dedicated to contributing positively to the school community.
