Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant & After School Club Assistant

Location: Mainstream Primary School – Hackney, London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role:

This dual-role position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied and rewarding environment. You will:

1. Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs during the school day.
2. Implement tailored support strategies, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Support individuals or small groups to access learning and develop social skills. Take a lead role in delivering engaging activities as part of our After School Club provision.

We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting (behaviour support experience is highly desirable).
• A calm, empathetic, and patient individual who can build positive relationships with pupils.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach, with an ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable and flexible, committed to contributing to the life of our school.
