Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants in Shaftesbury to support pupils’ behaviour, engagement and wellbeing in classrooms. You will work closely with teachers, delivering 1:1 and small-group support in both mainstream and SEN settings.

The role requires a patient, reliable approach, strong communication and teamwork, and a commitment to safeguarding. Hours are 8:30am–4:00pm, with term-time schedules and potential pay variations based on experience.

• Assisting with breaktime supervision and school activities

Salary: £14.24 p/h - higher rates available depending on experience/qualifications

Vision for Education is working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive schools across North Somerset to recruit dedicated Behaviour Mentors. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting pupils' behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing in a structured and supportive learning environment, while gaining valuable experience within the classroom.

We are looking for committed Behaviour Support Assistants who can work closely with teachers to support learning and behaviour with both mainstream and SEN students of all ages, helping with engagement and confidence throughout the school day. You must be available to work 8:30am to 4pm.

The Ideal Behaviour Support Assistants Will Have:

Pay & Hours: 14.24 p/h. Monday - Friday 08:30am - 15:30 and 16:00pm, term time only.
