Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated Vision Support Assistant to join a specialist setting. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs, focusing on visual needs, communication and behavioural regulation.

The role is temp-to-perm, offering a pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate. You will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, therapists and families to create a safe, inclusive learning environment and help pupils build

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is preferred.
• Experience with visual, communication or behavioural support is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping them build confidence, independence and positive relationships?

We're currently recruiting for a dedicated Vision Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive specialist setting in Chelmsford, providing tailored support to pupils who may require assistance with visual needs, communication, learning and behavioural regulation.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs

• Support students with visual impairment and communication needs

The role initially starts on a temporary basis, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils and the wider school team. For the right candidate, there is potential for the position to become permanent.
