Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in the Bolton area. You will support pupils with behavioural needs, collaborating with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans and help learners engage effectively in classroom activities.

The role emphasises building positive relationships, emotional regulation and safeguarding, with opportunities for long‑term or permanent roles and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
  • Calm, patient and professional in challenging situations.
  • Builds positive and trusting relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible, reliable and committed to improving outcomes for children.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS or is willing to obtain one.

Behaviour Support Assistant – Bolton

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a resilient and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive primary school in the Bolton area. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils who require additional guidance to manage their behaviour, develop positive relationships and engage successfully in learning.

Working closely with teachers, the SENDCO and pastoral staff, you will help pupils overcome barriers to learning by providing consistent support, encouragement and positive behaviour strategies. Every day is different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and making a lasting impact.
