Behaviour Support Assistant

Birkenhead

GBP13.68 GBP16.30 (per hour) - Salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications.

Vision for Education is seeking a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Birkenhead, starting as soon as possible. This long-term role involves working 1:1 with a Key Stage 4 pupil who exhibits challenging behaviour, providing consistent support and helping them engage positively in their education. The position runs Monday to Friday and may lead to a permanent contract with the school.

Requirements

To be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant position, the school have asked for:

- Someone who has worked with children, young people or vulnerable adults in any capacity

- Someone who may have experience with supporting people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

- Someone with great patience, drive, and determination

- Someone looking to extend and expand their skillset

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
