Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist in South Liverpool to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours.

You will lead de-escalation and restorative strategies, collaborating with staff to create a safe, structured environment and foster positive relationships. The role suits new or experienced educators committed to wellbeing and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Experience in PRUs, SEMH schools, or youth work settings.
  • Confidence managing behaviour and promoting emotional regulation.

  • Ability to stay calm, consistent, and compassionate in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Behaviour Specialist

A dynamic SEMH setting in South Liverpool is seeking a Behaviour Specialist to support pupils with complex behavioural needs. This full-time role demands resilience, initiative, and a deep commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning.

You’ll be joining an inclusive/modern/supportive school, focused on inclusion, wellbeing and community.

Your main responsibilities will include:
