Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a well-respected mainstream secondary school based in Kidderminster to appoint a Pupil Support Room Manager. You will be responsible for managing the school's pupil support room and supporting learners with behavioural needs.

The role involves implementing effective behaviour management strategies and helping pupils reintegrate into mainstream lessons. A patient, resilient and proactive approach is essential, with excellent communication and relationship-building

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in education or behaviour management are desirable.
• Experience working with secondary school pupils with behavioural needs.
• Strong behaviour management skills and experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) is desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people.
