Connex Education Partnership in Walsall is seeking a Behaviour Mentor / Youth Worker to support students in SEMH settings. You will work in schools across the Walsall area, providing daily guidance, calm supervision and positive role modelling to young people.

We are currently recruiting for Behaviour Mentors and Youth Workers to support students across SEMH settings in the Walsall area.
Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Working with students who may display challenging behaviour
Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement
Helping students overcome barriers to learning
Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams
Providing consistent, calm and positive support throughout the school day
Resilient, patient and confident managing challenging behaviour
Passionate about supporting young people
Able to build strong relationships with students
Calm and consistent in their approach
Experienced working with children or young people in education, care, youth work or support settings
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Sports Coach or similar would be beneficial.
£92.56–£105 per day
