Job summary

Academics is seeking a Behaviour Mentor / SEMH Supply Teaching Assistant in Sheffield. You will support pupils with SEMH needs across partner schools, helping them regulate emotions, re-engage with learning and build confidence.

We value resilience and empathy, and welcome candidates with SEN or youth-work experience. The role offers flexible days, with pay ranging £92.56–£110 per day, including holiday pay, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour.
• A TA qualification is desirable, but not essential.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and strong references.
• DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
