The Oldham Academy North, part of E-ACT, is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students with behavioural, social and emotional challenges. You will build trusting relationships, deliver targeted support and work with staff and families to promote positive learning outcomes.

You will monitor progress, maintain records and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment. The role offers a structured pay band and term-time, supportive professional development.

Competenze

• Experience of working with children or young people, ideally within an educational, pastoral or support setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Ability to remain calm, resilient and professional when supporting students with challenging behaviour.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities effectively.
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and supporting all students to achieve their full potential

Mansioni

• Provide targeted support and mentoring to students, helping them overcome behavioural, social and emotional barriers to learning.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students to encourage engagement, resilience and personal development.
• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and families to promote positive behaviour and improve student outcomes.
• Monitor, record and report on student progress, attendance, behaviour and intervention outcomes.
• Support the academy's commitment to a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where all students can thrive
