Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor in North Somerset to support pupils' behaviour, engagement and wellbeing within a structured learning environment. You will work closely with teachers to assist learning for both mainstream and SEN students.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, term-time only, with competitive pay and ongoing training. A patient, reliable approach and good teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and development.
• Assist with breaktime supervision and school activities.

Behaviour Mentor

Location: North Somerset
Salary: £14.24 p/h - higher rates available depending on experience/qualifications
Contract Type: Full-time & part-time available

Vision for Education is working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive schools across North Somerset to recruit dedicated Behaviour Mentors. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact by supporting pupils' behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing in a structured and supportive learning environment, while gaining valuable experience within the classroom.

We are looking for committed Behaviour Mentors who can work closely with teachers to support learning and behaviour with both mainstream and SEN students of all ages, helping with engagement and confidence throughout the school day.

Pay & Hours: 14.24 p/h. Monday - Friday 08:30am - 15:30pm, term time only.
