Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in the Bexhill area is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school on a full-time, term-time only basis. You will support pupils requiring behavioural, emotional, or pastoral help, build positive relationships, and work with teachers and SENCOs to promote inclusive learning.

A permanent role may be offered for the right candidate. Join a collaborative team and contribute to safeguarding and pupil welfare, providing one-to-one and small-group

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or hold one on the Update Service).

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, or pastoral support.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
  • Help pupils regulate their emotions using positive behaviour strategies.
  • Promote engagement in lessons and encourage participation in learning.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral staff.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Support pupils during unstructured times such as break and lunchtime where required.
  • Record progress and communicate observations with the wider school team.
  • Create a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment.

Behaviour Mentor – Bexhill Area

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in the Bexhill area on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor in the Bexhill area, you will:
