Job summary

Reeson Education is partnering with a specialist Islington setting to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support KS4 and KS5 students aged 14–19 with autism and behavioural needs.

You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to build positive relationships, promote calm and constructive behaviour, and help learners access vocational courses that prepare them for life beyond school.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting KS4/KS5 learners with SEN or autism.
  • Able to de-escalate challenging behaviour and promote positive strategies.
  • Patient, empathetic and resilient with a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Support KS4 & KS5 students with autism and behavioural needs in class.
  • Assist with behaviour management and positive engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams to monitor progress.

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? This specialist setting in Islington is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 14-19 with autism and associated behaviours.
