Long Term Futures are recruiting for our partnered provision that supports students facing significant barriers to learning due to medical, emotional, or social challenges.

About The Role

This full-time, term-time position is ideal for someone experienced in supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will work as part of a dedicated team, helping pupils re-engage with their learning, build confidence, and realize their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
2. Work alongside teaching staff to implement strategies that support emotional regulation and personal development
3. Help create a calm, nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and wellbeing
4. Support students in developing vital social skills and strategies to overcome challenges
5. Liaise with families and external agencies to provide cohesive, wraparound support

What We're Looking For

1. Previous experience working with young people who face emotional or behavioural challenges
2. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive, trusting relationships
3. A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to inclusive education
4. Relevant training or qualifications in youth work, behaviour support, or mental health (desirable but not essential)
