Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a Behaviour Mentor in Croydon to support pupils aged 11-16 in a secondary setting. You will work with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the SEND department to deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention, supporting positive behaviour and engagement.

Experience in behaviour management and de-escalation, with a focus on attendance and pupil wellbeing, is essential. Immediate start, full-time role.

£100-£120 a day (depending on experience) – Full Time – Immediate Start

• Experience working in a secondary school, PRU or alternative provision desirable
• Confidence with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a secondary school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and the SEND department to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils who require additional behavioural intervention. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting emotional regulation and helping pupils remain engaged with their learning. You will act as a positive role model, encouraging attendance, resilience and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
