Job summary

Clarendon Academy, based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, invites applications for a Learning Lead HLTA within the Behaviour Hub. The role focuses on supporting pupils not in lessons, helping them complete recap tasks, and refocusing to re-enter learning with confidence.

You will join a dedicated team including SLT, teachers and the SENCO, supporting students across years 7–11, including those with SEND or behavioural needs. A proactive, caring approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Has at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths.
• Passion for delivering high quality opportunities for children.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enjoys working with young people and can build relationships.
• Self-motivated, dedicated and consistent.
• Team player with initiative.
• Understanding of social, emotional and mental wellbeing.
• Experience in supporting students’ learning.
• Experience with SEND / behaviour needs or willing to train to support such needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the behaviour and inclusion team to support students not in their timetabled lessons.
• Assist students in completing recap work and refocusing to return to learning in lessons.
• Oversee and support pupils who struggle with behaviour.
• Support students with SEND / behaviour needs as required.
