Job summary

Churchill Academy & Sixth Form in a rural setting near Bristol is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Coordinator to join the behaviour team. You will support and supervise students who have been temporarily removed from lessons and help reintegrate them into the learning environment.

Working closely with Heads of House, the behaviour team and leadership, you will implement strategies to improve student behaviour and enable academic and personal development within a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing strategies to improve student behaviour.
• Ability to work with students in small groups and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise students in the Refocus Room.
• Contribute to reintegration plans for students returning to lessons.
• Collaborate with Heads of House and leadership to support student behaviour.

We are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Coordinator to join our behaviour team, who will support and supervise students who have been temporarily removed from lessons and been placed in the Academy’s Refocus Room. The post holder will carry out intervention work with students to support a smooth reintegration into the learning environment.

The post holder will work closely with our Heads of House, behaviour team, and leadership team to assist in the support for individuals, or small groups of students who are experiencing behavioural difficulties.

The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, with a focus on enabling young people to make a positive difference and achieve the Academy’s vision: to set no limits on what we can achieve.
