We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in the S9 area. You will be an essential part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new beauty brand into a high street store. Your main responsibility will be driving sales by ensuring the stands are fully stocked, as these brands sell quickly!

About the role:

This position is primarily based within Primark Meadowhall.

Confirmed working hours: 16 hours per week

There may be opportunities to work across other categories, including but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Toys, and General Merchandising.

Your tasks will include:

1. Product Placement and Replenishment: arranging and organising products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal; ensuring shelves are fully stocked to drive sales; monitoring stock levels and ordering products to prevent shortages.
2. Beauty Knowledge: developing expertise in health and beauty brands, products, and trends.
3. Compliance and Standards: adhering to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines; following planograms to ensure consistency.
4. Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: setting up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers effectively.
5. Communication and Relationships: building and maintaining good relationships with in-store colleagues, especially department and store managers; providing feedback to client account teams via our feedback application.

• You work efficiently, filling stands quickly and accurately with available stock.
• You have experience in merchandising or retail.
• You take ownership of your work, using initiative to find solutions within set timeframes.
• You pride yourself on delivering high standards and excellent service.
• You are comfortable with manual handling, moving and arranging products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• You are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
