We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based at Primark Manchester Piccadilly. You will be a key part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new beauty brand into a busy high street store. Your main responsibility will be to drive sales by ensuring the stands are fully stocked, as these brands sell quickly!

About the role:

This position is primarily located within the M1 1WA postcode.

Confirmed working hours: 12 hours per week

• Friday: 06:00 - 10:00
• Saturday: 06:00 - 10:00
• Sunday: 06:00 - 10:00

There may be opportunities to work across other categories such as Books and Entertainment, Toys, and General Merchandising.

Your tasks will include:

• Product Placement and Replenishment: Arranging and organizing products on shelves to maximize visibility and appeal; ensuring shelves are fully stocked to boost sales; monitoring stock levels and reordering as needed.
• Beauty Knowledge: Becoming an expert on health and beauty products, brands, and trends.
• Compliance and Standards: Adhering to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines; following planograms to ensure consistency.
• Promotional and POS Setup: Setting up displays and signage to communicate offers effectively.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Building good relationships with store staff, especially managers; providing feedback to client teams via our feedback app.

What makes you excellent:

• Ability to work quickly and accurately to fill stands with stock.
• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Ownership of your work within set timeframes; proactive problem-solving.
• Pride in delivering high standards and service.
• Comfort with manual handling of products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Confidence using a company tablet for tasks like downloading briefs, taking photos, and answering questions.
