Comton Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager focused on aluminium extrusion and fabrication. The role targets new business and expansion within the metals sector, requiring deep industry knowledge and a proactive approach to delivering aluminium solutions and value-added services.

Hybrid UK-based position with a strong emphasis on building customer relationships, negotiating terms, and driving revenue growth across manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management.
• Strong experience with aluminium.
• Experience within aluminium extrusion and fabrication.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business in aluminium extrusion and fabrication.
• Identify and target new customers across manufacturing and engineering sectors.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Develop existing accounts and maximise commercial opportunities.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and provide aluminium solutions.
• Promote aluminium extrusion, fabrication and value-added services.
• Manage full sales process from prospecting to quotation and contract negotiation.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and quotations.
