Job summary

Comton Group is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracted and transactional aluminium/manufacturing customers. The role blends home and office work, with specific in-office days in Cradley Heath.

The successful candidate will manage pricing, contracts and delivery of value-added services, building long-term relationships and driving revenue growth across accounts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contract Management, Account Management, Sales or Business Development.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and generate revenue.
• Experience managing and developing existing customer accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 20 contracted customers and around 10 transactional accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability across accounts.
• Promote value-added solutions, including aluminium fabrication and machining services.
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage commercial discussions, pricing and contract requirements.
• Identify opportunities for additional products and increased spend.
• Monitor account performance and work towards sales targets.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing contacts.
• Support customer retention and ensure high service levels.
• Collaborate with internal sales, operations and production teams.
• Stay updated on market conditions and competitor activity.
