Job summary

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking a Business Development Executive on a 12-month fixed term contract in Birmingham. You will support marketing initiatives, drive client relationships and contribute to growth across real estate and banking & finance teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in marketing/BD within professional services, strong communication skills, and a proactive, organised approach to balancing multiple priorities. Some events outside office hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in marketing or business development within a professional services or B2B environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive team player with enthusiasm and drive for business development.
• Flexible to support events outside normal office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of business development and marketing plans across key practice areas.
• Coordinate campaigns, events, seminars and client-facing initiatives.
• Produce and manage marketing content, legal updates and directory submissions.
• Work closely with partners, fee earners and colleagues across the marketing team.
• Assist with client development activities and wider strategic projects.
