Job summary

Ryder Reid in London is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support one of our Private Investment Funds practices. Based in London, this hybrid role offers exposure to client pitches, marketing materials, and market research to drive growth.

You will work across teams to plan events, track BD activity, and contribute to firm-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in BD or marketing, strong PowerPoint and CRM experience, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development, marketing, or a client-facing role (professional services preferred).
• Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of impactful client pitches, proposals, and presentations.
• Maintain and develop marketing materials, credentials, and BD resources.
• Coordinate legal directory and awards submissions (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500).
• Conduct market, client, and industry research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate across teams to plan and execute events, campaigns, and sponsorships.
• Track BD activity, client intelligence, and engagement using CRM tools.
• Assist with practice planning, reporting, budgets, and internal communications.
• Help raise the profile of the practice and its lawyers through targeted initiatives.
