Job summary

Pickfords is seeking a senior ERP platform lead to drive the move from Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central and stay on as the owner of the platform. You will architect the group chart of accounts, design intercompany structures, and deliver the migration end‑to‑end, including opening balances, testing, and phased go‑live.

The role reports to the Group Head of Finance, IT & Administration and will manage a small team as the platform matures.

Qualifications

• Multiple full‑cycle Business Central implementations, led from the finance side.
• Strong NAV and C/AL background with BC SaaS implementation experience.
• Data migration ownership from legacy extraction through reconciled opening balances.
• BC finance configuration: posting groups, dimensions, journals, permissions.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution architecture: group chart of accounts, dimension design, intercompany and consolidation.
• Validate target tenant and environment architecture during mobilisation, with BC SaaS as preferred destination.
• Own migration strategy end-to-end: extraction, transformation, opening balances, and reconciliations.
• Design interim bridge from legacy NAV to BC during dual‑run period, retire NAV later.
• Lead hands‑on configuration, data loads, test cycles and cutover for phased go‑live.
