Job summary

TAE Power Solutions is seeking a Prototype Build and Test Technician to lead the build of battery test properties, from parts procurement to assembly, using CAD references. The role requires strong hands-on skills, HV safety awareness, and the ability to work cross-functionally with design and testing teams at our Dudley site.

You will follow strict safety procedures, interpret CAD drawings to obtain key dimensions, and support process improvements for manufacture while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in prototype build environment.
• Experience assembling battery packs and modules.
• Strong HV safety awareness and practical hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead build of battery test properties including packs, modules and cells.
• Obtain parts from stores and build per CAD-based specs.
• Follow SSOW and HSE regulations; maintain clean, safe work area.
