Job summary

TAE Power Solutions in Birmingham is seeking an engineer to join the Systems team, focusing on design verification. You will create and maintain DVPs and DVMs, plan tests, execute hands-on testing, collect data, and report findings to drive product quality for batteries, inverters, motors, charging equipment.

You will collaborate with Build, Test Operations, Systems and Engineering teams, apply systems engineering processes, and ensure documentation is up to date with artefacts, status trackers

Qualifications

Engineering-focused degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience with system design and electrical/electronic disciplines.
Familiar with HV safety and test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain DVPs and DVMs for system verification.
Develop and execute test plans and practical verification methods for systems.
Perform hands-on testing with relevant equipment.
Support data collection and analysis to meet success criteria.
Collaborate with Build, Test Operations, Systems and Engineering teams.
Document artefacts, status trackers, test reports and guides.
