Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting for a Bathroom Fitter on a long-term, self-employed CIS contract across Doncaster and South Yorkshire. You'll manage end-to-end refurbishments in occupied domestic properties, from rip-out to final finish.

Ideal candidates have at least 10 years' experience, strong tiling, plastering and plumbing skills, and the ability to work independently with professional communication. Weekly pay and ongoing work are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience completing bathroom installations.
• Strong tiling, plastering and general bathroom fitting skills.
• Ability to complete small partition and alteration works.

Responsibilities

• Completing full bathroom rip-outs and preparing rooms for installation.
• Building and altering small partition walls where required.
• Carrying out plasterboarding, plastering and skimming.
• Preparing ceilings and fitting downlights; electrical testing by electrician.
• Carrying out tanking and floor preparation.
• Converting bathrooms into walk-in shower installations and fitting trays.
• Completing plumbing including taps, wastes and wet-side connections.
• Installing wall panels and aqua boards; tiling and grouting to a high standard.
• Taking bathrooms through to final customer-ready sign-off.

Job description

Take on a long-term contract role with weekly pay and ongoing work as a Bathroom Fitter, completing full end-to-end bathroom refurbishments across Doncaster and South Yorkshire.

You'll be working within occupied domestic properties, taking bathrooms from the initial rip-out through to the finished installation. This role suits someone who can handle the complete job independently, with strong tiling, plastering, plumbing and finishing skills.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Bathroom Fitter, Bathroom Installer, Multi Skilled Bathroom Fitter or Bathroom Renovation Specialist.

As a Bathroom Fitter, you will be:

• Completing full bathroom rip-outs and preparing rooms for installation
• Building and altering small partition walls where required
• Completing plasterboarding, plastering and skimming
• Preparing ceilings and fitting downlights, with electrical testing and certification completed separately by a qualified electrician
• Carrying out tanking and floor preparation
• Converting bathrooms into walk-in shower installations and fitting shower trays
• Completing plumbing including taps, wastes and wet-side connections to cylinders and boilers
• Installing wall panels including aqua boards, Mermaid-style panels and similar systems
• Completing wall and floor tiling, grouting and siliconing to a high standard
• Taking each bathroom through to final customer-ready sign-off

• The ability to complete small partition and alteration works
• Experience completing full bathroom refurbishments from rip-out through to final finish
• Pride in producing clean, high-quality work within customers' homes
• The ability to work independently and communicate directly and professionally
• Confidence using a phone and CRM app for job briefs, photographs and sign-offs
• Availability to complete pre-installation site visits to check measurements, materials and preparation requirements

Location & travel

This Bathroom Fitter role is based across Doncaster and the surrounding South Yorkshire area. Ideally, you'll be locally based or comfortable travelling around 40 minutes to projects. The area offers straightforward access via the M18, A1(M), M1 and surrounding road network.
