HelloKindred is looking for an Assurance Business Analyst (BA) to assess Basel 3.1 regulatory reporting applicability, review data lineage, and perform control testing to provide assurance on regulatory compliance.

The role involves working with Credit Business and Product Owners, technology teams, and other stakeholders to map data, processes, and controls, and to assess readiness for regulatory reporting submissions. It is a hybrid position in the UK with BPSS eligibility and umbrella PAYE.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Basel 3.1 regulatory reporting requirements and their applicability to banking activities.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, assurance, business analysis, or financial services control environments.
• Experience reviewing data lineage, golden sources, and end-to-end data, process, and control flows.
• Apply control testing methodologies across business, technology, and SOX controls.
• Understand risk-weighted assets (RWA) and impact of decisions on regulatory reporting.
• Identify compliance gaps, assess regulatory risks, and recommend improvements to internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Identify Basel 3.1 reporting applicability across banking activities, products, and services against regulations and policies.
• Review data lineage for Basel 3.1 reports and perform control testing to assure Basel compliance.
• Review golden sources to identify and address potential compliance gaps or violations.
• Collaborate with Credit Business and Product Owners across Mortgages and SBA to map end-to-end data, processes, and controls.
• Analyze RWA impacts from commercial decisions and deliver related technology feeds.
• Review business, technology, and SOX controls related to Basel 3.1 compliance.
• Perform tests of design and effectiveness for relevant controls.
• Suggest actions to strengthen internal controls and mitigate compliance risks.
• Support readiness for preparation and submission of Basel 3.1 regulatory reports.
• Assess development and implementation of training on Basel 3.1 requirements.
• Review readiness and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems and software.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate reporting systems with enterprise systems.
