Job summary

Albany Beck is a specialist financial services consultancy partnering with leading banks to deliver regulatory change and risk governance initiatives. A seasoned Business Analyst is sought to support a major banking transformation focused on establishing a regulated European entity.

The role emphasises business change, regulatory readiness and governance across Risk, Compliance, Operations and Finance, with exposure to ECB/PRA/FCA contexts and cross-border mobilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business-facing risk, controls, governance or regulatory change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk or Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
• Proven ability to document requirements, processes and governance structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and senior stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document and analyse business requirements across Risk, Controls, Governance and Regulatory workstreams.
• Support development and implementation of operational risk and control frameworks.
• Conduct risk and control assessments, control mapping and gap analysis.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify risks, controls and regulatory requirements.
• Document current-state and target-state processes, operating models and governance structures.
• Support RCSAs and remediation initiatives.
• Translate regulatory requirements into business processes and governance structures.
• Track actions, decisions, risks and issues across programme workstreams.
• Produce business analysis artefacts and governance documentation.
