Job summary

The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton in London’s Square Mile seeks a bartender to deliver exceptional beverage experiences. You will craft cocktails, manage guest interactions, and ensure service excellence across bar and outlets.

You will work with a collaborative Food & Beverage team to support guest satisfaction and commercial performance while upholding brand standards and a welcoming atmosphere.

The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton joins an existing portfolio of award-winning hotels owned by Dominus and managed by Dominus Hospitality. Opened in April 2026, the hotel joined Hilton’s prestigious Curio Collection in the UK, a global set of remarkable upper upscale hotels handpicked for their unique character and personality - each one a part of the fabric of the city it calls home.

About The Role

As a Bartender at The Derby London City, you will deliver exceptional beverage experiences that reflect the personality and energy of our bar. From expertly crafted cocktails to engaging guest interactions, you will create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and product knowledge. Working as part of a collaborative Food & Beverage team, you will contribute to seamless operations across the bar and wider outlets, supporting both guest satisfaction and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, engaging service to guests, creating memorable experiences from welcome to farewell.
• Prepare cocktails, wines, spirits, coffees, and speciality beverages consistently to brand and quality standards.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
• Manage bar service efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards across the bar and back-of-house areas.
• Handle payments accurately in line with hotel procedures and maintain accountability for cash handling and billing.
• Support upselling initiatives and promote hotel experiences to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Follow all licensing, allergen, food safety, and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Support colleagues across Food & Beverage outlets as required, contributing to a positive team environment.

• Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
