Seaport Corporation is seeking a skilled Bartender for Lawn Club, based in Seaport. You will craft cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, delivering a premium guest experience and maintaining a vibrant bar atmosphere.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll manage orders, uphold safety and hygiene standards, and engage guests with a friendly, professional demeanor. Evening and weekend availability is required.

• Proficiency in mixing and preparing a variety of drinks with precision and creativity.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing.

About the Role

Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Bartender to be based in Lawn Club. Reporting to the General Manager, the Bartender is responsible for a range of key tasks and duties that contribute to the overall success and ambiance of the establishment. You play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience by crafting and serving a variety of beverages with precision and flair. Your mixology skills, attention to detail, and customer service expertise contribute to a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere in the restaurant.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with other staff members, including servers, kitchen personnel, and management, to coordinate orders and provide seamless service.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages, replenishing stock as needed and assisting with regular inventory checks.

• Stay informed about current beverage trends, new products, and mixology techniques to continuously enhance drink offerings.

• Ensure that bar equipment, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment.

• Contribute to the overall ambiance of the establishment by creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.

About You

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).

• Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.

• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

• Climbing steps regularly.

This position is paid a minimum wage of $17 an hour and a tip credit is taken when applicable.
