Job summary

Soho House is seeking an Events Bartender to join our premium beverage team. You will support the Bar Manager and supervise operations to ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and presented to the highest standard for our members and guests.

Your role focuses on preparing classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, while fostering a welcoming, sophisticated environment during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong cocktail knowledge including classics and techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting.
• Team player with a flexible, professional attitude.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Personal Licence or willingness to obtain one (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health safety, and hygiene standards always.
• Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
• Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
