Job summary

Heckfield Place is seeking a Bartender to join our Bar Team at the luxury 5-star property in Hampshire. You will engage guests with warmth, deliver exemplary service, and maintain expert knowledge of our drinks menu.

Flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends. You will uphold brand standards, keep a clean, well-presented bar, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage positively and professionally with all guests and colleagues.
• Have an excellent customer service attitude and work ethic by providing an exemplary level of service to our guests.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
• Have a flexible schedule that allows you to work evenings and weekends often.
• Have excellent knowledge of the food and beverages served in the F&B outlets.
• Develop your knowledge and abilities with the Bar Program, with the guidance of the House and Bars Manager.
• Maintain an immaculate work area for yourself and your colleagues, using the correct equipment in the manner you have been trained in.
• Maintain your own presentation to a high standard for our guests and colleagues.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties are carried out, and checklists filled in ready for sign-off by a senior member of the House & Bars team.
• Develop your skills inside and outside of work to improve the guest experience, your own knowledge and abilities, and the team’s performance.

Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored luxury hotel on a 438-acre estate in the English county of Hampshire. Across the Hotel we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, seasonality, and a sense of place, with a focus on sustainability. It is thanks to this that we are honoured that our Marle Restaurant has been awarded a Green Michelin Star.

The Food & Beverage Department is currently looking for a Bartender to join our Bar Team.
