Job summary

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is seeking a friendly, confident bartender to join our fast-paced, guest‑facing team. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and guest requests while delivering outstanding service in a modern five‑star setting near Blackfriars Station.

You will handle till operations, maintain bar cleanliness, support cash/POS, and promote our Hyatt benefits, including complimentary nights and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Bartender with ability to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and guest requests.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and handle cash/POS duties accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking drink orders, and engaging politely with customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and keeping surfaces sanitary.
• Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and responsible alcohol service.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including operating the POS system and balancing the cash drawer.
• Monitor customer behavior to prevent overconsumption and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
• Restock bar supplies and inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and bar tools.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and alcohol service policies.
