Job summary

Hyatt Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London is seeking a passionate Bartender to deliver exceptional bar service, crafting beverages with knowledge of ingredients, presentation and techniques in our premium lounges.

You will support bar setup, maintain high standards of cleanliness, monitor stock, organise storage and collaborate with the wider team to maximise guest satisfaction while promoting the bar’s concepts and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender, preferably in luxury hotel or high-end bar.
• Knowledge of beverages, cocktails and service standards.
• Strong teamwork and proactive attitude in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and engaging bar service, creating memorable guest experiences in 40 Elephants and Sibin Whisky Lounge.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with strong knowledge of ingredients, presentation, and techniques.
• Support bar setup and ensure all preparations are completed prior to service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels, requisition supplies, and ensure correct storage of all bar products.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations and maximise guest satisfaction.
• Drive sales opportunities and promote the bar’s concept through knowledgeable recommendations.

About you

You are a passionate and service-focused individual with previous experience in a bartender role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment. You have excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and service standards, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
