Hotel Indigo Gloucester is seeking a Bartender to join the Hotel Food and Beverage team on an 8-hour per week contract, earning £13.20 per hour plus service charge. This role supports a vibrant guest experience in a historic city hotel managed by IHG.

The successful candidate will mix cocktails, offer drink recommendations, and work closely with the F&B team to ensure guest satisfaction and allergen information accuracy. We value hospitality, teamwork, and a passion for delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as bartender / cocktail bartender.
• Experience serving customers in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Creating our guests' drinks orders, mixing cocktails and pouring speciality drinks (you will be confident in pouring and creating a wide range of drinks for our guests) - we are looking for someone with experience working in a bar as a Bartender or Mixologist!
• Providing recommendations based on individual preferences (you will have a depth of knowledge regarding wines, spirits, beers, and cocktails - being able to provide recommendations to our guests based on their individual flavour preferences) - it would be desirable to have knowledge of all drink categories and a creative mindset, keen to share your knowledge with others and delight our guests!
• Working in a team to create an excellent environment for our guests, staying aware of intolerances and allergies (you will be working closely with our wider F&B team to ensure our guests have an excellent experience, you will communicate in a positive and clear manner and be aware of existing allergen information and training) - excellent communication and personable skills are essential for this role!

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

• To be passionate about delivering great service and be a mixologist by trade
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender / cocktail bartender
• Experience working with customers in a busy environmentWillingness to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team
