Qualifications

• Two years of experience behind a busy bar is required.
• Confident cocktail knowledge and ability to create a wide range of drinks with consistency.
• Polished, personable and engaging with presentable style.
• True host mindset with anticipation and generosity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every drink is balanced, impeccably presented and worthy of the Club.
• Prepare a wide repertoire of cocktails in line with Club guidelines, with care and consistency.
• Bring fresh ideas to the menu with innovative cocktails that excite members.
• Set up and maintain immaculate service stations, ensuring bars are stocked and ready.
• Manage daily F&B requisitions and maintain par levels to avoid misses.
• Deliver service with style, quickly and seamlessly, whether serving members or supporting the team.
• Host with warmth, manage food and drink orders confidently, and make members feel welcome.
• Close out with care, presenting bills clearly and correctly.

The Groucho exists to keep Soho’s artistic, liberal
spirit burning bright, and to champion London’s role as a creative powerhouse

Born in 1985 as the antidote to the cloistered
gentlemen’s clubs of London’s Mayfair, The Groucho Club was founded on a

We are on the lookout for a bartender with flair, someone
who doesn’t just make drinks, but crafts moments. We want a true mixologist who
combines technical finesse with a radiant, welcoming energy, the kind that
makes members feel at home the moment they step up to the bar.

This role is all about hosting, engaging, and creating magic
in every pour. The perfect candidate brings a can-do attitude, a spark of
personality, and an instinct for turning simple ingredients into something
memorable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring
  every drink that leaves your bar is beautifully balanced, impeccably
  presented, and worthy of the Club.
• From
  a perfectly poised Martini to a deeply satisfying Old Fashioned, you’ll
  prepare a wide repertoire of cocktails in line with Club guidelines, each
  one made with care and consistency.
• Bringing
  fresh ideas to the menu with innovative, well-considered cocktails that
  excite and delight our members.
• Setting
  up and maintaining immaculate service stations, ensuring the bar is fully
  stocked, polished, and ready for every service, because the magic is
  always in the preparation.
• Managing
  daily F&B requisitions thoughtfully and accurately, maintaining par
  levels so service never misses a beat.
• Delivering
  service with style, fast, efficient, and seamless, whether serving members
  directly or supporting the wider team.
• Hosting
  with warmth, making food and drink orders in a friendly, confident, and professional manner that makes every member feel welcome and looked after.
• Closing
  with care, presenting bills clearly and correctly, even when
  service is declined, because grace matters at every stage of the experience.

  least two year’s experience behind a busy bar, you understand the

  cocktail knowledge, you’re comfortable preparing a wide range of drinks with consistency and care.
